Higher sensitivity results in faster on-screen movement with smaller hand movements, while lower sensitivity provides more precise control but requires larger movements.

Mouse DPI (dots per inch) determines how many pixels the cursor moves per inch of mouse movement, directly affecting overall sensitivity.
